What it does
One place for the car you actually drive.
BUILT CO is an iOS app for people who maintain and modify their own vehicles. It replaces the shoebox of receipts, the notes app, and the spreadsheet nobody has opened since March.
Modlist
Plan and track builds. Keep parts, specs, and install notes together so a project has one record instead of six group chats.
Shop
A wishlist with real budgets, so the exhaust you have been thinking about for eight months has a number attached to it.
Glovebox
Registration, insurance, receipts, and service records — filed where you can actually find them from the driver's seat.
We send two emails. That is the whole list.
BUILT CO sends transactional mail only — messages a person triggers themselves by taking an action in the app. There is no newsletter, no marketing list, and no promotional send.
Confirm your email address
Sent once when someone creates an account, to verify they control the address. The account stays unusable until the link is followed.
Reset your password
Sent only when a password reset is requested from the app. The link expires after one hour and can be used once.
No purchased or imported lists. Every address we hold was typed into the app by the person who owns it. Accounts are deletable from within the app, and deleting an account removes the address along with the rest of the record. Questions about mail from us go to hello@builtco.app.
Private Beta
BUILT CO is in private beta.
The app is not yet available on the App Store. Access is limited to invited testers while we finish the first release, which means features move, screens change, and data may be reset between builds. If you would like to be considered for the beta, write to us — we read everything that comes in.
